Joel is an associate in the prevention and dispute resolution area, with extensive experience in representing civil, commercial, administrative contentious, and constitutional judicial processes, as well as in complex arbitrations involving contractual matters, state contracting, corporate issues, and investments.
Joel has experience in arbitration and judicial litigation concerning contractual, corporate, administrative, and constitutional matters.
He has also participated in consulting assignments of a civil, commercial, and constitutional nature, as well as in arbitrations.
He holds a law degree from the University of Lima, where he obtained a Diploma in Conflict Resolution, and has studied investment arbitration at the University of the Pacific.
He has completed the Summer Courses on Private International Law at The Hague Academy of International Law, as well as a specialization program in commercial arbitration, both national and international, organized by the Inter-American Commercial Arbitration Commission and the Lima Chamber of Commerce.
He served as the Student Coordinator of the Arbitration Study Circle at the University of Lima and participated in the 2021 Arbitration Moot organized by the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Rosario. That same year, he was appointed president of the University Parliament, organized by the Congress of the Republic of Peru.
