Andrés Kuan-Veng

Andrés is a financial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in international operations in different sectors.

He has participated in public and private securities issues in the international market (including IPOs and issues under Regulation S and Rule 144-A), purchase of companies (including companies listed through OPAs), financing and development of projects with special concentration in energy sectors (oil & gas, mining and electricity) and infrastructure (health, ports and roads), asset backed financing (including securitizations), unions and banking regulation.

His professional career has been highlighted by the most prestigious international specialized publications such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, IFLR 1000, LACCA, Leaders League and Best Lawyers.

The March-2020 arrival of practice co-head Andrés Kuan-Veng kick-started an uptick in the practice group’s caseload, and he too has been involved in multimillion-dollar mandates, such as advising Intipuquio in one of the largest equity IPOs launched on the Lima Stock Exchange.
