Eduardo is a Consultant in the Mining and Environmental Law practice areas, specializing in the evaluation of investment projects involving natural resources (mining, electricity, agriculture, hydrocarbons, water resources, industry, and forestry), as well as an expert in sustainability and climate change.
He has over 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, holding executive leadership positions such as Chairman, Director, Manager, Department Head, and Senior Advisor. He has served as Chairman and Member of Administrative Courts overseeing permitting and administrative fine proceedings at the Environmental Enforcement Court (OEFA), the National Water Authority Court (ANA), the Forestry and Wildlife Court (OSINFOR), and the TASTEM of OSINERGMIN. Furthermore, he has held management roles at the Ministry of Environment (MINAM), the National Service of Environmental Certification (SENACE), and the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI), as well as leadership positions in mining companies and as a Senior Associate at prestigious law firms.
In the academic field, Eduardo has served as a Lecturer of Environmental Law at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of the National University of Trujillo and at the Latin American Postgraduate Center, as well as a Guest Lecturer at the Universidad Científica del Sur. He has authored several articles published in specialized legal journals and has served as a juror for the “Certificado Azul” (Blue Certificate) – Water Footprint Program organized by ANA.
