Our Team

Luz María is a partner and a joint head of the Tax Practice Area. She has significant experience in providing tax advice, reorganization of companies, tax audits, tax procedures and planning.

Luz María has served as President of the Tax Committee of the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy.  She also has been President of the International Fiscal Association, peruvian group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of IFA Latin America.

Prior to joining Rubio Leguía Normand, Luz María was advisor to the General Directorate of Taxations (currently, SUNAT) and Tax manager at Arthur Andersen Perú.

She has been a professor of Income Tax and Accounting Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
