Restructuring and Insolvency

The Restructuring and Insolvency practice involves advising creditors and debtors in the context of bankruptcy proceedings before INDECOPI, as well as private restructuring processes. We have experience in Bankruptcy Law (Law 27809 and amendments), but also in financial, corporate, contractual and banking matters, which allows us to provide multidisciplinary advice, which is essential in cases of business crisis in which the vision and analysis must be comprehensive.

 

What do we do?

In restructuring matters, we combine our bankruptcy experience with our expertise in financial, banking and corporate-contractual matters, offering our clients various alternatives to implement a restructuring, such as the creation of trusts, bond issues (including securitized bonds), sale of companies, corporate reorganizations, rescheduling, refinancing, among others.

Regarding liquidations, we provide advice in liquidation processes (via bankruptcy proceedings or the General Companies Law), and we accompany the client in judicial bankruptcy proceedings, whether they are creditors or debtors.

We also provide specialized products depending on the particular situation of each client, such as management and optimization of the bankruptcy portfolio based on objective goals and deadlines, offering tangible results to clients that generate efficiencies.

We have a multidisciplinary team with extensive experience. We are known for knowing the industries of our clients and counterparties, which allows us to understand and identify the causes of the crisis and advise our clients on possible solutions to the crisis situation or credit recovery.
